How do we protect visitor information?

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks (supported by Shopify's cloud hosting service) and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server, and all sensitive/credit information you supply is protected by Shopify's PCI DSS Level 1 certification, transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our site policies. After the retention period expires, we will securely destroy or anonymize your personal information, in accordance with Shopify's built-in data retention and privacy protocols.

Do we use “cookies”?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
We use two types of cookies, managed through Shopify's built-in privacy tools to ensure compliance with regulations such as the ePrivacy Directive and CCPA/CPRA:

If you turn cookies off, you won’t have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. The website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS, all managed through Shopify's privacy-compliant tools.
When we send SMS messages to you, we will clearly inform you of the following details in the messages: You are consenting to receive SMS messages from our business; your personal information will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes; the frequency of SMS messages varies depending on your interaction with our website (e.g., cart abandonment reminders, promotional updates) and there is no fixed number of messages per week or month; you may reply STOP to any of our SMS messages to opt-out of receiving future SMS messages, and once you reply STOP, we will immediately cease sending SMS messages to you; you may reply HELP to any of our SMS messages if you need more information about our SMS service; message and data rates may apply, and you are responsible for any such charges incurred from your mobile service provider.

Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term “outside parties” does not include Bare Home or Shopify (our e-commerce platform provider). It also does not include website hosting partners (including Shopify's cloud hosting services) and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.
However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses, in compliance with Shopify's built-in privacy guidelines.
We may share your personally identifiable information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website, processing payments, delivering orders, or providing customer service, as well as with Shopify (our platform provider) to support core site functionality. Tracking

We use Shopify's built-in privacy protection and analytics tools to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Shopify's native tracking tools help us better understand our users’ experience (e.g., how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback, all while prioritizing data privacy and compliance.
Shopify's built-in tools use cookies and other privacy-compliant technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. All collected data is stored securely by Shopify on our behalf, in a pseudonymized form, in compliance with Shopify's global privacy standards and PCI DSS certification.
Shopify is contractually obligated to protect all data collected on our behalf and is forbidden from selling or misusing any user data.
